Caving is in his blood: his two helices of DNA are linked together with 8mm static ropes.
He has been hunting the secrets of the caves since the age of 16 and, after taking up the title as part of the “National School of Speleology” (SNS-CAI), he devoted his energies to the dissemination of science education and environmental training of new cavers. It is a cornerstone of the Karst Research Group.
His competence, his professionalism and the achievements in the mountaineering field have made him the tour guide who manages the site of Grotta del Trullo since 1997, date on which he has combined exploration and speleological research with teaching for schools and speleo-tourism, becoming one of the few expert cavers in Italy.
